Join Friends of Gilroy Hot Springs (FOGHS)!
Proudly support the protection, preservation, and restoration of this 140-year-old designated historic landmark. Share the vision of renewed public use of a small retreat center featuring "green" events, hot mineral water soaks, creek access, refreshing and relaxing time at "heaven on earth".
Membership benefits:

- Free passes to regularly scheduled tours of GYHS
(2012 scheduled tours are every Saturday at 10:00 a.m.; reservations required)
- Invitations to special events and special events related to GYHS
(2012 Special public events are May 19-20 and Oct 27; FOGHS members qualify for admission discounts) - Tax deductions for charitable donations
As with all organizations, we welcome contributions of talent, time, resources and donations.
We are transitioning again and anticipate to temporarily stand under the PRA 501(c)(3) qualified nonprofit umbrella again until we complete paperwork to create a new cooperative association specifically for GYHS. Our mission and activities will continue, with a closer alignment with State Parks. We began in 2008 under the Pine Ridge Association (PRA), the official all-volunteer organization for Henry Coe State Park. We transitioned into a subgroup of the California Foundation for Architectural Preservation (CalFAP) a qualified 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation with whom we more closely share the mission to "preserve buildings, sites and properties of historical or architectural importance within the Sate of California and to promote thereby knowledge of and an appreciation fo the history of the State". During that partnership we each learned a lot and mutually benefitted.

- Volunteer: lend your time and talent either on site or from home; there are lots of opportunities.
- Tell family, friends, and associates: you may know someone, or someone who knows someone who can affect change.
- Adopt a Building: by contributing toward the cost of restorations, contributing materials, and/or sponsorships.
- Schedule a Special Event for your group for a tour, picnic, camping, and mineral water soaks, combined with a few hours of volunteer work. Subject to availability, these are "green" events -- pack-in/pack-out -- that do not leave a footprint on the ecology, and contribute a few hours of volunteer work or other contributions. Pricing varies according to the length of time, and amount of resources needed.
